Cosmic Rift Commands

Account and Connection Commands

  • ?accountinfo - Shows all your aliases and their usage (See ?usage).
  • ?go <arena> - Moves you to <or creates> an arena named <arena>. Use #<arena> to make a private (invisible) arena.
  • ?hide - Hides you from the ?find command.
  • ?info - Sent privately, will display information of the person's ping/packetloss and his squadname (if applicable).
  • ?lag - Displays combined information of your packetloss and latency.
  • ?packetloss - Displays your current packetloss.
  • ?password <newpassword> - Changes your password to <newpassword>.
  • ?ping - Displays your current ping times.
  • ?usage - Shows time played in your current session, as well as total time played, the number of logins, and average session length for the name your using.
  • ?wipecharacter - Erases your current character's information, you have to be in spectator mode to use this.

 

Team Commands

  • ?team - Displays what team you are on.
  • ?team <name> - Switches you to the named team.
  • ?team <name>:<password> - Switches you to the named team with the given password.
  • ?teaminfo - Displays the names (and possible squad) of the players in the current arena.

 

Squad Commands

  • ?squad <squadname> - Lists all the online players in the squad <squadname>. If no squadname is specified, the online players in your current squad are listed.
  • ?squadleave - Removes you from your current squad.
  • ?squadjoin <squadname>:<password> - Allows you to join an already existing squad. You have to specify the squad name and password.
  • ?squadcreate <squadname>:<password> - Creates a new squad with the given name and password. The squad name must not already exist.
  • ?squadchart <squadname> - Displays a chart list of everybody currently online in squad <squadname> and their location. If no squadname is specified, online members of your current squad are listed.
  • ?squaddissolve - Dissolves your existing squad. You must be the owner to use this command.
  • ?squadkick <playername> - Kicks the named player off your squad. You must be the owner of the squad to do this.
  • ?squadrename <new squadname> - Renames your squad to <new squadname>. You must be the owner of the squad to do this.
  • ?squadtransfer <playername> - Transfers the ownership of a squad to the named player. You must be the owner of the squad to do this. The named player must exist and cannot already own a squad.
  • ?squadpassword <password> - Changes the squad password to <password>. You must be the owner of the squad to do this.

 

Chat Commands

  • ?alarm - Sets a message alarm.
  • ?chat - Lists your chat channels.
  • ?chat name1,name2,..,name9 - Adds the named chat channels to your chat channel list.
  • ?chat off - Removes you from all chat channels.
  • ?chatchart - Displays a chart of everybody online in your chat channels and their location.
  • ?ignore - List all the people you have ignored.
  • ?ignore <name> - If <name> isn't in your ignore list, it adds them. If they are already in your ignore list, it will remove them from the list.
  • ?ignoresave - Saves your ignore list to ignore.tx<profile number> (ex. ignore.tx0 for profile #1).
  • ?log <filename> - Logs all messages to the named file. If you do not specify a filename, "session.log" is used. If a log file is already open, it is closed.
  • ?mark - Sent as a private message, marks the player for easier visibility in radar, playerlist and message display.
  • ?marksave - Saves the marked players list.

The following commands are used within chat messages, and are substituted for the values they represent (ex: //I am located at - %coord)

  • %coord - The radar coordinate where you are currently located.
  • %count[ItemName] - Displays the amount you have of ItemName in your inventory.
  • %date - Today's date on your machine.
  • %killed - The name of the player you killed last.
  • %killer - The name of the player who last killed you.
  • %selfname - Your own name.
  • %squad - Your squad's name.
  • %tickname - The name of the person you have highlighted on the playerlist.
  • %tickitem - The name of the item currently highlighted in the inventory.
  • %time - The current time on your machine.

 

Game Settings Commands

  • ?arena - Displays a pop-up menu of all non-#private arenas.
  • ?fakealpha - Toggles fake alpha blending on/off.
  • ?namewidth <numbers> - Sets the name-field width in message area (in pixels), default is 84.
  • ?showphysics - Puts up a grid to help you see objects which cannot be moved over (red=blocking object).
  • ?radarsize <numbers> - Changes the size of your radar (in the lower right of your screen) to <numbers>. Default is 160.
  • ?viewpercent <numbers> - Changes the position your character shows on the screen. Default is 75.
  • ?sounddelay <numbers> - Sets the delay after which sounds are played. Default is 5.
  • ?volume <numbers> - Sets the volume to <numbers>.

 

Gameplay Commands

  • ?flags - Displays the state of the flags (if any) in the game.
  • ?quit - Exits the game.
  • ?zone - Displays the name of the zone you are in.
  • ?zonelist - Allows you to change zones within the game.
  • ?loadmacro <filename> - Loads the FKey macros from the named file.
  • ?savemacro <filename> - Saves your FKey macros to <filename>.
  • ?away - Toggles your away state on/off.
  • ?away <message> - Sets your away message to <message>.
  • ?find <name> - Displays the zone and arena in which the <name> player is located. A wildcard is added to the end, so total_newb would show total_newbie.

 

Chart and Scoring Commands

  • ?score_top100 - Displays Top 100 scores in the current zone.
  • ?score_online - Displays scores of online players in the current zone.
  • ?score_lastgame - Displays scores of online players in the last game (where available).
  • ?playerchart - Displays a chart of players in the current arena.
